From tricking Converge’s drummer into being on their album to forcing The Room’s Tommy Wiseau to listen to their music while wearing a ghillie suit, Detroit’s The Armed work in mysterious ways. Though their methods are unorthodox and lineup is unknown, none of this takes away from the pure ferocity that is their music. 2018’s Only Love LP has received only love from the music press & all who receive it, which is how it should be; the album rules. Good job, Kurt Ballou. Good job, The Armed.
